On Wednesday April 3, 2013 our dear friend and co-founder of the San Dimas H.E.R.O.E.S. organization passed away.

Janie was very dedicated and hard working toward the completion of the Veterans Monument in San Dimas. Janie was a huge part of the San Dimas H.E.R.O.E.S. which was founded in 2004. As secretary, almost everything that was printed or written is Janie's excellent grammatically correct work. Janie worked tirelessly with planning and attending all fundraising events, graciously hosting board meetings at her home, and was the creator of the H.E.R.O.E.S. cookbook. Janie did ALL of this while running 2 businesses full time as well as assisting other volunteer organizations in the community.

Janie has touched countless lives with her generous, caring, loving personality and will be missed dearly.
